Jerry Johnston (Actor 1) – “Let’s Do it Again,” the old hit by the Staple Singers, played in my mind when BLT announced the repeat of Paul Haughey’s adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Paul was a good friend and a talented, artistic theater maven, and we miss him dearly. When we did the show in 2003, I had the most fun I had ever enjoyed on the BLT stage with Katie, Jud, Ron Lockwood, Sydney Meals, and Ben Wallace. And now Katie, Jud, and I are delighted to relive that wonderful experience with our new castmates Tom Hilliard, Jordan Meals, and Kyrie Lokhaiser. We sincerely hope you enjoy the fun and hijinks as much as we all do while still holding onto the original magic of Dickens’ message about the Christmas season. It’s a tribute to Paul and Ron, who are still with us in spirit (no pun intended). As always, we thank you, the audience, for there would be no Butler Little Theater without you.
