Since his first appearance onstage in 1980 as Tom in The Glass Menagerie to his most
recent role as Andrew Makepeace Ladd III in Love Letters, Jud has been a familiar and
beloved presence at BLT for decades. A Life Member of the theatre, he has been
involved in countless productions over the years—so many, in fact, that even he may
have lost track.

His BLT experience spans acting, directing, and other contributions to the theatre. Most
recently, he appeared in Hay Fever. When asked to submit a bio for this production, Jud
confidently relied on his extensive theatrical résumé… from the last program. And
honestly, with a history like his, why reinvent the wheel? For Pen Pals, he returns
behind the scenes as producer for BLT’s 85th-season celebration.
