“Sam” returns to BLT after a decade-long hiatus. A BLT Life Member active since 1985,
she is thrilled to be back home. A former Board Chair, Sam has received numerous
awards for lead and supporting acting roles, directing, and technical contributions. She
was also honored with the Board of Directors Award for establishing BLT’s first website
and online ticketing platform, as well as for her innovative contributions to public
relations, publicity, photography, and programs.

Professionally, Sam works as Learning Delivery Lead for FedEx University. She holds a
BA in Theater and Communication Arts from Gannon University and an MS in
Multimedia and Educational Technology from Duquesne University.

Following her portrayal of Annie Wilkes in Misery, Sam is excited to take on the
delightful contrast of Bernie in Pen Pals. She cherishes the opportunity to return to the
stage in this special anniversary production with Liz, reunite with Jud and Jud
Michael—partners in some of her most memorable theatrical experiences—and
reconnect with her BLT family.
